Drove 500 miles yesterday.. about halfway. Indiana was pretty flat, but interesting because it was all new to me. Saw a few dust devils just south of Indianapolis. Tonight i'm staying in kentucky just south of cincinatii. Lots of pretty rolling hills here, fun to drive through. The air feels a bit warmer here, and smells slightly different - i can tell I'm in a new place.
Today we're going to drive over to the coast a bit, and follow it down to Savannah. We're on vacation, so there isn't really a rush to get down there. We're just taking it easy, and taking in the sights. I'm having a blast. The new Honda gets about 37 miles per gallon.. much better than the bronze bomb.
Next stop, SAVANNAH! |
